The items that aren’t included with Avalon, are things most kiwis prefer to pay for – only if they want them. Avalon make drinks outside of mealtimes, and off river shore excursions optional extras. Choosing a stateroom on an Avalon river cruise is relatively straightforward. There is really only a choice of Deluxe water level cabins, or 2 levels of magnificent Panorama Suites. These feature a Wall-to-Wall Panoramic Window that transforms the living space into a unique open-air balcony, making these cabins more than 30% larger than the industry standard.
