WHY NO TOUR ESCORT?

Our package holidays are not group tours and are not personally escorted from New Zealand.

Why, because in our experience, our customers are well-travelled, they find that our itineraries are very detailed, well planned, and easy to follow.

Escorts are expensive, and generally redundant on a cruise-based holiday, where everyone is very well looked after. By avoiding the high costs of an escort’s air tickets, hotels, cruise cabin, meals, and salary, we can keep the price of our packages exceptionally low.

We have scoured our database to hunt out the best cruise deals, then negotiated great airfare specials and combined them with discounted hotel rates to create – one exclusive upfront package price – that is thousands of dollars cheaper than what other travellers pay.

While there could be any number of fellow kiwis travelling on your same travel package, everyone generally travels independently. Those folks that would like to meet up, can liaise with the Cruise Director onboard the ship to set up an afternoon tea, or regular pre-dinner cocktail time, with their fellow NZ shipmates.

CAN I TRAVEL AS A SOLO TRAVELLER?

As most Single Travellers have already discovered, the cost of solo travel is more than the per person cost of a couple travelling together.

Most hotels and cruise cabins are the same total price for one guest as for two, but single travellers only must pay for one airfare, so the package price will be lower than the total sum cost of 2 travellers.

While we are always happy to try, successful room matching for two independent single travellers is rare. You may be better to consult your own friend groups to find a travel buddy, and possibly try a short weekend away to test your compatibility.

Most of our packages are based on Deluxe Ocean View or Balcony Staterooms. A good option to reduce the package price for solo travellers is to ask us to investigate the cost of a smaller Inside or Window Cabin.

It is important to realise that our packages are independent. There are no escorts or guides however we can certainly prebook meet & greets and car and driver transfers for a seamlessly integrated experience.

WHAT ARE THE HOTELS LIKE?

We pride ourselves in only using well reviewed, 4-star to 5-star hotels, in great central locations. Hotel details are normally finalised around 60 days before your holiday departure. All our packages are easily personalised to suit you perfectly – just let us know if you have a special hotel, or room type in mind and we can build this into your individual holiday itinerary.

CAN WE UPGRADE?

Our packages can be personalised to suit your own individual needs or tastes. Many people wish to visit friends or family before or after their cruise or add on free time to explore on their own. Almost anything is possible, we would love to work together with you to create the ideal holiday that is perfect for you.

We almost always have Upgrade Options to help you travel more comfortably in Premium Economy or Business Class. It can also be well worth asking about upgrading room types at your hotels to a superior, or more spacious room or suite, or a room with a view.

All cruise ships have many cabin categories, and the upgrade costs are worth considering. As well as more space and a balcony for you to enjoy, upgraded staterooms and suites often o er you extra perks which could enhance your holiday experience.

WHY DO WE NEED TO PAY SO FAR IN ADVANCE?

We have constructed these amazing offers using advance purchase specials. Airlines, hotels & cruise lines o er us discounted pricing for booking in advance, which means lower prices for you. However, these lower prices are often non-refundable and require payment at the time of booking. Ask us if you need flexibility with your payments, we may have a solution that is better for you than breaking an investment early. Naturally, it is important that you have comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen events that may prevent you from travelling.

HOW MUCH WILL THIS AMAZING SERVICE COST?

Not a cent – it is absolutely FREE! We earn our commissions from the cruise lines, which are built into the brochure price. You pay the same (or less) than if you would be booking direct with the cruise company.
